The Eye Fund A charity to support people losing their vision.
The 4th “Fractured Vision” Exhibition was a great success.
Opened by Patron Mike McCartney, the exhibition lasted the whole week in the Visitors Centre, Birkenhead Park. On display and for sale were copies of Simon’s work in the form of framed pictures, jewellery, greeting cards, silk scarves, cushions, etc.
The total funds raised was over £1100.
Thanks to all who bought items and helped in any way.
The 4th Fractured Vision Art Exhibition, featuring graphics by Simon Sherry, will be held in the Visitors Center, Birkenhead Park from Monday, 13th April to Sunday, 19th April. The doors will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm daily. Admission is free.
The exhibition will be officially opened on Sunday, 12th April by The Eye Fund Patron, Mike McCartney.
On sale will be copies of Simon’s unique graphics, either framed or just mounted. Also, using the same graphics, there will be on sale, jewellery, greetings cards, silk scarves etc.
The Capitol Chinese Restaurant in Birkenhead is celebrating The Chinese New Year on Sunday 22nd February. They will have the traditional Chinese Lion dancing, Horoscope, Quiz, free gift and a raffle. They are donating the proceeds from the raffle to The Eye Fund. That is very generous of them.

This Saturday, 15th November, The Eye Fund are at Hope Place, Prenton, for their Christmas Craft Fair. Lots of good things for Christmas presents including hand-made jewellery, silk scarves and framed pictures using Simon’s unique designs.

Saturday 23rd August. There will be a craft fair at Hope Place in Prenton, Birkenhead from 10:00am to 4:00pm. We will be there selling jewellery, greeting cards, silk scarves, mounted pictures etc.

The Eye Fund received donations from Iain Long’s funeral amounting to £450.
Iain was a much loved dad, son, brother and friend.
We can assure everyone who donated that the money will be used to help people faced with sight loss.

On 7th June Carol and Paul attended the craft fair at Hope Place, Prenton, Birkenhead.
Although it was a very small affair we were amazed that we took a fantastic £124 in just a few hours. We’re looking forward to the next one.
The 2nd June saw the Eye Fund at the Environmental Agency in Warrington. We had a big stall in the canteen and just inside the foyer.
Lots of cakes were made by some of Helen’s colleagues and were sold at £1 each. We also sold lots of jewellery and cards and the total takings came to £261.65.
